Mongooses Needs You! Yes we need a new website; it’s getting a little old, a little cluttered and needs a complete overhaul. We need a new shiney mongoose website that is user friendly, has event sign ups and a website. Simples. If you have the skills, know someone with skills or could suggest a good ‘make it here’ website please contact any myself or any of the Nobles. For now, we’re going to continue using this website and the sign up system until a replacement can be made. We’re returning to in game calendar advertising as before to spread the word of our up coming events.

Speaking of Nobles, you might have noticed our two new Nobles. Alaunus and Artulla are brilliant mongooses who are willing to shoulder some responsibility in our slightly tweaked leadership hierarchy. Due to my time becoming more limited due to real life – family and hunt for work/education - and the officer meeting wanting me to continue despite this, we’re now more of a guild council – A chairman and a board of directors. Grover and Doof still pushing raiding, Big using his silver tongue for recruitment and Grim still being the voice of the everyday man for the goosette. Alaunus and Artulla, as well as all the other Nobles and myself, will make up the voices on the council and should be treated with the respect that they deserve. We will help lead the guild in everyday matters and anything that worries you can be directed our way. After all we’re here for you!

We (Knights and Nobles) are going to meet up once a month and air any problems and assess our progress. If you want anything to be raised then please contact a Noble or a Knight in confidence and we shall discuss them. I’m going to use the minutes to form the Newsgoose and keep you updated with any plans we come up with. Our most recent decision has been to kick Hermit’s alts. Which as an active Yeoman you needn’t worry about, but with people who have been inactive for over 6 months without a reason, clearing their alts but keeping their mains helps to cut the dead wood so to speak. Of course if they return they are more than welcome to have invites reissued to their alts. We just want to keep the guild fresh and having a clearer view of those more active members,

As regards raiding, for now we’re halting goose runs until we have the gear, sign ups and goose leaders all back in sync as we’ve had the usual summer spell regarding progress and sign ups. But goosette will continue pushing Bot, BWD and TotFW aiming for achievements and other such hilarities and solo healing and talk like a pirate night. You know, for lols. We’re even going to attempt a 25 man over the next month to get as many folk together at once and try something new. I am rather excited about this! Of course we’ll be aiming for any retro achievements we haven’t got yet to boost our guild achievements. Hoo rah!

And speaking of achievements, I would like to extend my thanks and congratulations to Stav and Minx for their promotion to Knights. They are now the official go to couple for PVP advice and leadership. Secondarily we are pushing for Dinner Party – place 1500 feasts. With less than 650 to go mats for Goblin BBQ’s, great feasts, smalls feasts or fish feasts are greatly appreciated as well as dust, dust and more dust, which we are only 3k from completing.
