That's right Guildies, you may have started to think it was impossible for a humble social guild like The Fighting Mongooses, but we have taken down the Lich King (and in just one shot, but we don't want to brag ). With the help of Stavron, BigDougieM & 3 great PuGs, Priestpwnage, Liuxuandie, Terracon, Aradia & Huadan have become the Guild's newest Kingslayers.

After a calendar continuation failed to come together on Monday morning, the Mongooses logged in hopefully on Tuesday morning, mindful of the approaching reset and down a tank, we waited. Liuxande eventually showed up and it was onto Sindragosa; impressively single tanked by Stavron. Two Shots on Sindy and a masterfully detailed explanation later we stood before the Lich King; ready... going! All went smoothly until phase 3 and after we were picked off by Vile Spirits and an unlucky DPS'er exiting Frostmourne only to be left the the middle of the defile, with the Lich King at 18% only PP, Liux and Stav remain standing and in the face of incredible odds they battled him down to 10% while those dead could only watch his baited breath! 10% reached, 2 minutes of roleplay and quick mass ressurection and a hell of a lot of nuking later; he's dead! Bow before the almighty Mongooses!

Then all that remains was a quit cutscene (which made everyone think t hat their game was crashing) and onto the loot! He dropped Troggbane, Axe of the Frostborne King & Halion, Staff of Forgotten Love.
