We went to Icc on Friday; orginally a progression run that hit an abrupt wall when the raid leader himself coudln't even sign up! But thanks to Shell's brilliant editing everyone could sign up and it was a bog standard normal raid for everyone, and man did we pown!

Firstly two records were set; everyone was there within five minutes of the raid starting and we cleared the trash within 15mins! Oh my freaking god.

1-4 went down in a blaze of glory, Saurfang being nutted in the face by 7 dps, 1 healer (grim) and 2 tanks; he didn't even get to 80% blood power. We then ventured to the Plague quarter. Fester and Rot went down without a wipe and we poked our heads into PP's lair. I almost brought it when I got shut out of the cleansing by insects but I made a run for it and stormed into healer range as the doors open. Woo for me! PP took 2 wipes, but he took a nose dive on the third and Angel won his coverted Trinket, which I had to drop in Liux's vent room to boost about. "I am here to announce, that Priest has just won PP's Trinket. Thank you." Followed by the quickest dropping back into the main room you have ever seen. Sorry, had to be done old bean. Taking PP down was a guild first; yet another record this night.

Dreamwalker died at some point in the night as well with a four healer, one tank combo! it took two wipes but meh, you can't be awesome all the night through. We about turned and went to the rarely visited by the guild Blood Quarter. 2-3 wipes later the Blood Princes lay with naff all health and we looted shiney things. Again, another Guild first!

Then to round up the even we paid a visit upon her higness, the Blood Queen. With only two wipes, and a very massive amount of good luck and awesome timing, she snuffed it along with half of the mindcontrolled raid. Boo - Freaking - Ya!

Yet another guild first & most people can make a seond night. Maybe that's a record too? More info about our hopefully roaring second night sucess as and when it occurs.
