1. Guild values
We are a social guild. If you’re looking specifically to raid and not interested in the social aspect of our guild, please go elsewhere. We may not be the largest guild in the world but our members know each other and get on wonderfully, and that to us is much more important than numbers. Having said that we do try to organise plenty of instances/group activities/raids so we’re not in it just for the chat.

2. Conduct
Common sense applies. Spammers, beggars and loot ninjas will be removed from the guild.

There are young people in the guild, and regardless of age there are plenty of people who don’t like to hear it, so we have a strict no swearing in gchat policy between 7am-11pm server time. Do what you want in whispers, but if we catch it in /g you’ll be sorry. Same applies for offensive comments of any kind.

I’m sure you’ve heard it time and again from other guilds but it’s worth repeating. While you are a member of this guild your actions reflect on the rest of us. Make that reflection a good one.

3. Inactivity
We've always had a policy to never kick someone from the guild if we know why they're absent and they expect to return. They'll be demoted down to "Hermit" rank. Just let us know what's going on. On the other hand, people who give no warning and are inactive for 6 months will be kicked from the guild.

4. Recruitment
The Empress, Nobles, Militia and Knights will be able to invite and promote in the guild. We take applications mainly through the website Details on how to apply and what we're looking for can be found here.

Once accepted you will be on a two-week minimum, six week maximum trial period. We're working a new system where, once you are fully at home and compatible with the guild you will be promoted. To pass the trial period you will of course need to make a good impression on the guild who will be feeding both positive and negatie feedback to our recruitment officer. And you graduate Mongoose University to impress us even more!

5. Honorary Mongooses
Guild tag means nothing to us if you're a friend, so we're often joined in instances and raids by people outside of the guild. Honorary Mongooses take part in the website like regular guildies, and should be treated no differently. Such examples are Congau and Delian, and the guilds Sirius and Solace,

6. Disciplinary Procedures
If you are seen to be breaking the guild rules you will receive a verbal warning and it will be recorded by an officer. On your second slip-up you will be demoted to the Naughty Corner until we feel the lesson is learned. 3rd offense, you’re out I’m afraid.

If the offense is major of course we may have to take more drastic action, and a swift /gkick could be in order, this is down to the judgement of the officers present at the time.

7. Raiding

We offer two types of raiding.

Firstly Raidin'goosette; raids for anyone who wants to come; gear, experience not neccessary to a degree. Just the fun we offer with all Mongoose Activites. And never fear, if you can't be accepted into a raid we try to rotate people so everyone has a chance to punch the big bad in the nose.

Along side this we have a Raidin'goose; where if end game content is something you'd like to push for, but you don't want to leave us for a hardcore guild, then this is your baby. We have guidelines for Raidin'goose like gear, concentration and desire, and we will help you to achieve these things should you wish to push new content. But the biggest thing we require for our Progression Team, is that you are a true Mongoose who gets involved with the other social aspects of the guild. No one should join this guild on the basis that we have this team.
